Go-X

GO-X exploded from the South Wales valleys in 2009 and in two short years
have gigged and toured with You me At Six, The Blackout, Young Guns, Elliot
Minor, My Passion and Attack! Attack!. They’ve sold out clubs across the
country and attracted crowds of over 500 in more than one venue. Their fresh
sound blends rap rock, 90’s grunge and pop melodies, and has earned them
legions of fans and received strong praise from the media including straight
7/10s in Rocksound.

GO-X toured the UK this July & August with That Sunday Feeling and Neon
Sarcastic playing to sold out clubs. The atmosphere was electric and the
band lived up to their reputation for an energetic and off the hook live
performance; bouncers at several venues accosted lead singer Josh Lindner
for smashing mic stands and stages on their last UK tour and encouraging
stage invasions on the ever decreasingly liberal O2 stage circuit. At
Birmingham O2 GO-X earned high praise in the form of a 4 star rating from
Kerrang! Magazine.

The band took a break in August making one festival appearance at debut
festival Merthyr Rock, opening the stage for headliners The Blackout.
Reviews from their live performance have consistently suggested an energetic
new band with a lot of hot new music to bring to the table.

In the last quarter of 2011 GO-X will release their much anticipated third
single ‘Frame 313’ already a favourite among fans of their live shows. The
song is decidedly more accessible and tune orientated but still full of
their regular energy and charisma. It follows singles “Pi” and “Nom” both
receiving strong praise from the press including two 7/10s from Rocksound.
To follow up the release they will tour in late October with friends “Johnny
Get The Gun” who have recently released their own music with much success
among their live fanbase. The small UK tour is expected to sell out with
dates being added as October draws near.

GO-X have begun writing new material and are preparing to write a full
studio album to be released in the new year. Expect their usual funk rock
and twisting rhythms, complimented this time with ballads and a more
calculated and long borne approach to music writing. The band have waited a
long time to put a full album out and are very excited.
