New to the music scene is the six-piece, post-hardcore band, Dear Veronica. The band members being; Chris Tate (screamo vocalist); Ben Davis (lead vocalist); Liam Dickson (rhythm guitarist); Daniel Cliff (lead guitarist); Ryan Howe (bassist); & Jeffrey Baker (drummer).

The band tend to do covers from songs of well-known bands such as ‘A Day to Remember’, ‘Escape the Fate’, ‘Enter Shikari’, ‘You Me at Six’. Alongside these tracks, is some of the bands’ own material that has been written by the band members themselves. Some songs they have written have the titles: ‘Beautiful Betrayal’, ‘You Stole My Heart’, and ‘Real Life Edward’.

Dear Veronica played their first gig recently at the Lamplight,Stanley. Despite the nerves before the performance, each and every member performed confidently and had an excellent reaction from the crowd too.
